Core Trust Seal “is an international, community based, non-governmental, and non-profit organization” that promotes “sustainable and trustworthy data infrastructures.” Certification is based on demonstrating compliance with the Core Trustworthy Data Repositories Requirements in 16 areas of trustworthy data management and stewardship.
